Manchester United might have more headaches this summer transfer window as the Red Devils are looking to bring in players ahead of this season.
The club’s forward player, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told the board at Manchester United that he wants to leave Old Trafford this transfer window.
The Times confirmed the news in an exclusive report on its official website on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, according to reports, he has told Manchester United to accept an offer for his signature, if they do get a better offer.
Ronaldo is keen on playing Champions League football next season and has never played in the Europa League. This will be the first time in his career if he decides to remain with the Red Devils.
He has played in the most lucrative European competition from his days at Sporting Lisbon to last season with Manchester United from 2003 for 19 consecutive seasons.
The forward player has 183 appearances in Champions League, scoring 140 goals and 42 assists in that time.
Bayern Munich have shown interest in the Portuguese who has never played Germany and could be a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski who might be heading to Barcelona.
Chelsea have also been interested in Ronaldo but the rivalry between the Red Devil and the Blues might be a big factor.
